Jack3dJack3d, interesting name for an interesting product. Many people have been pushing for me to try it, and viewing other people’s reviews, it was a definite buy for me as soon as I saw it in a supplement store. The unfortunate thing is, I don’t feel the same effects as others were talking about.

First, Jack3d is a pre-workout supplement that’s manufactured by USPLabs. It contains some trace of creatine and beta alanine. I am not going to speak on those compounds in the review but they will be focused on in individual blog posts. So keep a look out for them.

The side effects of beta alanine is a little unsettling, to say the least. The pin-prickling sensation that overcomes your body, or the feeling like if something is crawling on you, isn’t a pleasant feeling to have while waiting to workout. That alone, got me a bit agitated but it’s an expected effect from this compound. Next, the taste wasn’t too bad although I was expecting something a little more refreshing but I did get a lime flavored one. I tend to have to chug it, as it’s not something I would want to sip on.

It does provide me somewhat, of some energy but as I have experienced more burst of energy in other pre-workout supplements, it wasn’t anything in comparison. The pump is excellent, which is the only thing allowing me to finish up this product. The amount you need to feel the effects, is small so it’s an affordable, long term product. The price is a little up there but for the serving size, it’s worth it. The beta alanine effect, does wear off after continuous use, so that’s a plus but still doesn’t compensate for the irritable feeling in the earlier times of taking it.

So, overall rating: 3/5

Taste: 3/5
Mixibility: 5/5
Price: 3/5

I take jacked and it has def is worth it but has its down sides like the prickly feeling all over. It gets the job done to push u thro ur workout. i just wish it would last a lil longer.

The reason why you may not feel as if it’s lasting long anymore, is because you may have taken it over a long period of time. It’s suggested that with any pre-workout supplement, you should cycle off of it also, so that your body doesn’t become adaptive to it’s stimuli. You should be on an “on” cycle of a pre-workout supplement for about 8 weeks and off for about 4 weeks. I myself, am using jack3d and have to get off of it soon and actually train without any pre-workout supplement for a bit.

Thanks for support my site by the way!
